JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS
All Kyushu / Northern Kyushu / Southern Kyushu
This pass is ideal for travelling throughout Kyushu as there are pass types available that offer access to Northern Kyushu, Southern Kyushu, or Kyushu in its entirety. This pass also gives users the ability to freely select seats on local trains, limited express trains, and Shinkansen (bullet trains).
Notice
When you get on the train, be sure to show your passport to prove that you are an international visitor. The passport must have visa stamp or seal for a temporary visitor.
Notes Regarding Usage
How to Use
JR Kyushu Rail Pass can be passed through the automatic ticket gate.
Please be careful not to leave your ticket in the ticket gate machine.
【Attention!】
Reserved seat ticket cannot be used to pass through automatic ticket gate.
Validity Period
Regarding the validity period of JR Kyushu Rail Pass:
The pass must be used on consecutive days. For example: 3 consecutive days validity such as Jan.1, 2, and 3.
You may not use non-consecutive days (interval in-between).
Seat Reservations
Advance reservation（charged：KRP Option Ticket）
The "JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS Online Booking" provides a charged seat reservation service for persons who have purchased a JR Kyushu Rail Pass in advance from the site or from a designated travel agency.
*There is a limited number of seats available for sale on each train. Even if there are seats available on your desired train, you may not be able to purchase them.

Reservation in Kyushu, Japan (free)
You may use reserved seats on the Shinkansen and limited express trains without additional charges within the designated area and number of uses specified for each pass that you purchased. Please book your tickets at a JR Kyushu “Midori no Madoguchi” (ticket office) or reserved seat ticket vending machine.

*If using reserved seating after you have exceeded your designated number of reserved seat bookings, you will need to purchase a express ticket for each train that you take.Details for Express Ticket
*Reserved seats booked in advance through JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS Online Booking are not included in the above-mentioned booking limit.
*The seats that can be reserved without additional charges are limited to “reserved seats.” If you use a Green Car seat, you will need to pay extra.
*If you don’t have a reserved seat, you can only use “non-reserved seats.”
*When transferring between the Nishi Kyushu Shinkansen "KAMOME" and Limited express trains, your reservation for the latter reserved seat is a continuation of the former one, counted together as one.
