There are 2 types of Rail Pass based on passenger needs.
- JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS
- JR KYUSHU MOBILE PASS
Notice
When you get on the train, be sure to show your passport to prove that you are an international visitor. The passport must have visa stamp or seal for a temporary visitor.
JR KYUSHU RAIL PASS
This pass is ideal for travelling throughout Kyushu as there are pass types available that offer access to Northern Kyushu, Southern Kyushu, or Kyushu in its entirety. This pass also gives users the ability to freely select seats on local trains, limited express trains, and Shinkansen (bullet trains).
JR KYUSHU MOBILE PASS
The JR Kyushu Mobile Pass is a smartphone-based ticket that does not require redemption at station counters. You don't have to worry about losing or damaging the ticket, as you can access it anytime from your smartphone, allowing you to travel more freely in Kyushu than ever before.
