Saga

Saga is surrounded by a diverse variety of natural attractions. In addition to the mountains to the north, Saga faces two different seas: the Sea of Genkai to the north, and the Sea of Ariake to the south (where the largest tidal flats in Japan can be seen). There are many hot springs in Saga. Historic hot-springs towns such as Ureshino and Takeo are must-visit places. Ureshino offers high quality spring water that is said to be one of three best spring waters in Japan for beautifying the skin.

Saga is also well known for having the largest archaeological site in Japan.
