JR KYUSHU DISCOVER RAIL PASS is a pass that allows you get on and off freely.
It covers not only local and rapid trains operated by JR Kyushu,
but also popular limited express trains, tourist trains, and even the Shinkansen!

- Product use:
- Unlimited travel by Kyushu Shinkansen and limited express train, local train and rapid service train of the conventional train lines in the designated area using non-reserved seats on ordinary class cars.
You are able to make seat reservations for the trains described above on ordinary class cars for up to six times.
Additional charges are added when seat reservations are made for more than seven times or when seat reservations are made for first class green cars.
The pass cannot be used outside of the designated area. Additional charges are added for using trains outside of the designated area.
The pass cannot be used for the Sanyo Shinkansen (between Hakata and Kokura), Hakata-minami Line, Fukuoka City Subway, the Cruise Train Seven Stars in Kyushu, ARU RESSHA(Sweet Train), JR Kyushu buses, and B&S Miyazaki buses.
- Eligibility requirements:
- ① Main user: You must hold a passport issued by a country other than Japan. (Non-Japanese national)
- ② Companion: Up to one companion can be a Japanese national only when the pass is purchased at the same time with the main user and when the companion has exactly the same travel plans with the main user.
- Purchasing method:
- To purchase the pass, you must show your residence card or passport.
The pass can be purchased at two locations described below depending on your convenience. - ① Ticket Office at all stations of JR Kyushu (excluding unmanned stations) *Same-day tickets can be purchased also.
- ② KKday website or KLOOK website.
- The pass can be purchased for Non-Japanese nationals only on these websites. (All Kyushu: 12,000yen, Northern Kyushu: 6,500yen)
Please purchase an exchange order on the KKday website or KLOOK website and have it exchanged for the pass at one of the following stations.
【Stations】Mojiko, Kokura, Hakata, Saga, Nagasaki, Sasebo, Beppu, Oita, Kumamoto, Kagoshima-Chuo (*), Miyazaki (*), and Miyazaki-Airport (*) (*) Only All Kyushu pass is available.
- Conditions of use:
- This pass can be used by only rail pass purchaser.
Whenever you use the pass, please make sure to carry your residence card or passport which was used to purchase the pass.
- Exchange/Refund:
- 【Exchange】No change can be made after the purchase, no exceptions made (including the change of the area and the boarding date).
- 【Refund】A refund can be made with a cancellation fee of 440 yen only when the pass is unused.
Notice) When receiving a refund on the pass for the Non-Japanese national, a refund on the pass for the companion must be made at the same time. - When receiving a refund on the pass only for the companion and the main user intends to keep the pass, the pass for the main user is also required to process the refund.
Please bring both passes to the Ticket Office. - 【Reissue】The pass cannot be reissued even when the pass is lost or for any other reasons.

- ② Companion:Up to one companion can be a Japanese national only when the pass is purchased at the same time with the main user and when the companion has exactly the same travel plans with the main user.
- Purchasing method:
- In order to purchase a pass, you must show an ANA or Peach boarding pass as well as the residence card or the passport.
