At the time the station was first constructed, the train cars were divided between 1st, 2nd and 3rd class cars. Previously there was a waiting room exclusively for 3rd class passengers. In contrast with the former 1st and 2nd class passenger waiting room, the décor was made from cedar and coated using paint, giving it a completely different atmosphere.
During the recent restoration, an elevator and café were installed in what used to be the 3rd class passenger waiting room to provide comfort to customers.
